Get Accessories for your new iPad!
Article by Mark Manager
Another year brings us another great Apple gadget, the iPad – ‘a magic and revolutionary product’. The iPad, much like the iPhone allows you to surf the internet wirelessly, anywhere (using 3g), flick through your photo albums, watch movies, listen to music and more on all a beautiful, somewhat huge (for a portable device) multi-touch screen.
Since the release of the iPad, we have seen a huge number of iPad Accessories being announced and released around the US and Europe to enhance your iPad.
iPad Accessories are something that no doubt, each and every single iPad owner will be looking into at one point or another, whether it be something as basic as an iPad Case – a protective sleeve, a leather pouch, to protect your iPad from damage. Or an iPad Screen Protector to stop your screen from getting scratched. Down to the more advanced iPad Accessories that enhance it’s functionality, things like iPad Headphones of superior quality to the bundled Apple ones, or Bluetooth iPad Adapters, adding Bluetooth connectivity to your iPad.
iPad Accessories come in all shapes and sizes and perform a wide range of different tasks. From protecting your iPad or your iPads’ Screen, to providing superior sound – external speakers and headphones, to adding extra connectivity and functionality (Bluetooth, USB Ports etc).
If you own an iPad or you are thinking about getting one, then its most definitely worth taking a look at some of the online iPad Accessories Stores. You’re guaranteed to find something that will catch your attention, something that will enhance your iPad that bit extra, or add that extra functionality that you need.
Most iPad Accessories are not too pricey either, obviously if you’re looking at some Beats by Dre headphones then expect to pay several hundred still! But you average iPad Cases, iPad Headphones, iPad Screen Protectors etc can all be picked up from 5GBP – 30GBP depending on how much you want to spend. All of them premium quality too.
I think you will all agree that spending 5GBP – 30GBP on a protective case/screen protector for your 0 iPad is not a bad idea! You wouldn’t it getting scratched or damaged at all, would you?
In conclusion if you are getting an Apple iPad then there are a few MUST HAVE iPad Accessories that you should be looking to buy before you even have the iPad!
1 – An iPad Case, you don’t want your beautiful iPads surface to get damaged anytime soon!
2 – An iPad Screen Protector, depending on how much you have to spend you can get some really fly ones that are anti-glare, fingerprint resistant and so on. It’s worth spending a bit extra here and getting a premium one, because it’s going to make life easier in the long run. What use would a cheap one be that you can use when the suns out!?
One great place to check out is iPad Accessories HQ – ipadaccessorieshq.com, they have a pretty large range of iPad Accessories and it looks like they’re adding more each day. Great prices, all from the Amazon store – they have just filtered out the best bits

You get what you pay for,
Customer Video Review Length:: 3:19 Mins
I had some issues with the supplier right off the bat. They switched the name from “leather” to “polyurethane” which it is. I pre-ordered the item so I can see if they made some initial mistakes. The video review from the website of Acase was no where near the quality of the case that I received. I don’t think this case is going to last long, because it seems to get more loose as the day goes on. The cut for the screen (and case) is not symmetrical. I originally had the Apple Smart Cover, and technically this does have the feature, but it is no where near the quality and precise functionality as is the Smart Cover from Apple. Of course, you are comparing Apple to a much smaller company.
Again, you get what you pay for. Personally, I can see the case selling for $15 or less, but $37 is way overpriced for the quality that was put into the case. The Smart Cover was $39 and this item should be no where near that price. I will keep for a couple of weeks and most likely spend more money on a better quality case. I can see this case lasting 3 months.

|Nice alternative to the Apple Smart Cover,
I’m a relatively new iPad 2 owner, and I’ve recently been looking for cases that are both functional and nice-looking. I’ve decided after using this case that it is a very nice alternative to the Apple SmartCover. The downside to the cover is that, well, it’s not really a case, so it can’t completely protect the iPad. This case is nice because it protects the backside from scratches (although I doubt that it would protect very well from drops). The case fits the iPad 2 snugly, and the outside is soft and pleasant to the touch. The case closes securely due to the magnets embedded to the front, and the iPad automatically wakes up when the cover is opened (sleeps automatically as well when the cover is closed). There’s no special design to the outside of the case, but it looks sleek and simple. I also own the Scosche hard leather case. The upside to that compared to this case is that it is able to offer multiple viewing angles. This one is restricted to two viewing positions. I would strongly recommend getting this case.
UPDATE:
After using this case for a couple of days, I realized that the magnets emobedded into the cover are actually weaker than that found in the Apple SmartCover. I guess that’s a bit of a con, but it still works solidly (sorry about my slow observation). With enough force, the cover can flap out by itself due to the weak magnets, but I don’t imagine myself holding the case in such a way so it’s not too big of a problem.

|Nice slim case,
The case is very slim and form fitting. It’s a soft case, so it’s more like an envelope than a case really. There are parts around the edges that crinkle slightly, but nothing too drastic. It’s similar in Apple’s smart cover in form/function. I don’t regret the purchase for approx $25.
My single biggest complaint is that the cover’s magnet is WEAK. If you use the cover as a stand for any extended period of time, the cover’s edge will not snap shut or stay shut immediately. Usually I remedy this by putting the thing face down or weighing it down with a book. The other complaint is the speaker opening. In order to keep the fit tight, the case uses a perforated opening for the speaker which reduces the volume significantly.

|i was nervous about whether or not i would like my iPad before i bought it but i got it and love it. I would highly recommend you buy one but I recommend you don’t buy the 3G unless your going to be gone a lot. I have the iPad 64 GB 3G and I barley ever use the 3G because you don’t get unlimited data. AT&T charges $ 25 for 2 GB of data and you’d be surprised how quickly you use it up. Anyway I would recommend that you look at the size of your iTunes and Picasso/iPhoto library and you either get the 32 GB or 64 GB Wi-Fi model based on that.
It’s pros and cons become prevalent quickly once you start using it alot. The “pros” are that it’s probably the best media consumption device available. It’s far more intiment than a laptop or a phone. I love reading through newspapers and magazines, and browsing is pretty much seamless. If you’ll be using your iPad for those kinds of tasks, you’ll be incredibly satisfied. However there are definitely “cons.” You can’t really make anything on the device that is useful for work. Theirs iWork apps, but it’s not simple to get documents printed off of the thing. Of course there’s no flash support, but that’s something that’s never going to change. If your looking around for alternatives to the iPad, good luck! There’s alot missing from th iPad, but anything it can do, it can do extremely well. One thing I have to mention is if your planning on using this as a computer replacement. You’ll need a computer to activate it, a computer to update it, a computer to restore it, and a computer to sync it. So, if your wanting a computer, just get a laptop. Alot of people are buying the thing for the “cool factor,” which is bound to wear off as soon as everyone buys one at Christmas and Apple comes out with a new model.
As far as buyer’s advice, I’d recommend at least the 32 GB model, and I’d go for the 3G flavor if you do alot of traveling. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in the iPad.
I’ve had an iPad for several months and I love it but it does depend on what your needs are.
It’s great for surfing the web, mail, games, entertainment and you can do some word processing with the pages app.
It’s not a laptop replacement for everyone. You will have to choose from apps approved by apple or jailbreak the device.
If you have used a ipod touch or iphone then you have the basic idea. The larger screen makes it easier to do just about everything.
to keep money in mind for apps
what make the ipad good is the apps

are you an Apple lover?
you have to think about what you are used to. there is a lot less functionality than any other portable device.
it’s basically a huge iPhone, so if you love apps and just love surfing on the comfort of your sofa then the iPad is probably for you.
If you want to work on the move but don’t want a laptop, you might want to consider an HP tablet or something similar.
If the iPad has this two features: Wifi and 3G.
