a laptop has a word processor, and can view flash video.

an ipod can only view the internet and run applications from the app store. You cannot type with it because you cannot touch type ( this means type without looking at the keys)

Could not Get to Work with iPad 2, April 26, 2011

Could not get to work with iPad 2 even after following DCIM folder instructions. I did get the video output to work but only for about 5 seconds until it said not an apple authorized accessory and only after about the 20th attempt.

I received a 3 in 1 connection kit which was bull to begin with not to mention that the product delivered was completely unresponsive with both my iPad and iPad 2… Absolute garbage

pretty much the same just the ipad wont burn ur lap lol

  • Murcuri says:

Ipad’s are much slower on the internet but they have helpful school apps and good battery life
but I would go with a laptop because it is faster and easier to take notes on because of the keyboard

  • Meklar says:

An ipad lasts longer on a single battery charge, and comes integrated with certain Apple software frameworks that some people may find useful. A modern laptop is more powerful and more versatile than an ipad, but also more expensive.

I would go with the laptop, on the basis that there are lots of things I want to do that are hard to do with an ipad. I would also advise the vast majority of other people to go with the laptop for the same reason. A small portion of people may have specific needs that an ipad fills more effectively, though.

Either way, make sure you take care of it and don’t abuse it physically, these devices last longer and work better if they’re treated nicely.

  • Katie says:

An Ipad is a device made by apple, which is all touchscreen and without a keyboard, it can hold applications, and surf the web. A laptop has a keyboard, with a opening and closing top, to protect the screen. I personally would use a laptop, because it has a keyboard and is less fragile.

  • DivaMia says:

Well my sister has an ipad and I have a laptop. The ipad is handy to carry around everywhere or search Internet or whatever. However, with a laptop u can burn CDs and plug ur camera card into it to upload pics. So, I would prefer my laptop because there is nothing it can’t do.

  • Marsid Nuho says:

Well iPad is a Mac product which means, you will need to buy software for it and they’re quite expensive. While Laptops mostly run Windows. You can get a great deal in Acer and HP ( my top favorites but there are good ones too out there. Ipad design is cool but you can’t play games there ( not including the iTunes ones. ) If you a gamer you will need Laptop. If you got any other question hit me up: admin@marsidnuho.com :) Hope I helped

  • Avery says:

I’d recommend laptop for school because an iPad is convenient and easier I guess to carry around but it really doesn’t have as much to offer as a laptop when it comes to using it for school bc u will probably need word and it’s easier to type on the laptop and get around from website to website, tho iPads can have cool apps for school I’d recommend the laptop for sure!
