Use Private Label Contents to Create Audio E-books

Article by Dan Farrell

Books have always been considered as treasures throughout time being the compact vaults of knowledge that they are.

Throughout the centuries of its existence, little has changed about what books offer: information. However, as the human civilization progressed, books have gone through a long series of transformation with regards to its physical form.

Back in the ancient times, books come in slabs of stones, stacks of papyrus, or scrolls of parchment and with the advent of the printing industry, volumes of books text came abound as what the people of today are familiar with.

Within the recent decade, books took a new form with the emergence of the internet and the boom of information technology, e-books, short for electronic books, made its way to reach the open arms, or computers, of the today’s bookworms. The popularity of e-books has grown beyond the market’s expectation. Less than three years ago the e-book segment grew from 1,000 to over .3 million, a whopping 1447% growth in net sales, according to the Association of American Publishers. Meanwhile, conventional forms of books, such as hardcover and paperback, dropped sales by 10% to 43%.

There is no doubt that the electronic format is becoming a popular medium that would soon replace most, if not all, of the current modes of publishing in the future.

A New Trend: Audio E-books

E-books are gaining popularity due to one key element that older formats could no longer offer: convenience. E-books, are faster to acquire, more compact, and even cheaper than conventional books. People are always looking for ways to make everyday activities, such as reading, easier. Now with this search for convenience, a new trend is emerging for the ever growing population of bibliophiles: the audio e-book format.

While not as popular as the printed text form, audio books have gained popularity in recent times. In Amazon.com, the world’s leading online bookstore, audio books are even more popular than mass market paperback copies. Some consumers could not find the time to read, while others find reading a laborious task.

With audio books, book lovers are allowed to “read without reading” at their own convenient time and place, such as while driving, or working out. But audio books can also become quite bulky or inconvenient once they pile up, especially with their usual forms of CDs and tapes. Nowadays, however, this problem is solved by combining the conveniences of both audio books and e-books with a hybrid to be known as audio e-books. Talk about convenience!

How to Take Part of the Audio E-book industry: Private Label Rights

Audio E-books seem to have a great potential as a new booming industry, and of course many would want to take part of a growing venture during its infancy stage, when there are few competitors. However, to be one among the first to take part in an endeavor such as making audio e-books, speed and efficiency is necessary. Fortunately, there is a solution to this small predicament, private label rights.

Also known as PLR’s private label rights allow individuals or entities to purchase products such as text, software, and graphics, and have total entitlement. This means that someone who acquires private label rights is allowed to do whatever they want, whether to modify, edit, or sell a product and claim total ownership. To start a business, such as an audio e-book production, one just has to buy the materials, known as private label contents, and transform them into the marketable form of audio e-books.

While everyone has a certain knack for things, not everyone has the combination of talents to produce something as complex as an audio e-book. But this does not at all hinder one from taking part of a growing industry. For instance, a marketer or an investor who might not have the talent to write, may purchase private label articles, record them, and combine them to form an audio e-book ready to be sold online.

It is just a matter of assembling things, it is fast and convenient. In no time one can start selling audio e-books.

Books are here to stay, it is just the way they are presented that changes. With the search for convenience, audio e-books offer book lovers a fast, cheap, and handy way of digesting the information that books deliver.

Making audio e-books is not as difficult as it seems thanks to the option of using private label contents.

In these times, the possibilities are endless.

Cute set, but smells super toxic. I washed them a few times, but the books still smell horrible.

I bought this product for my son when he was six months old, he is 8 months now. He has been enjoying looking at the bright pictures and turning the pages of the three books. Also biting them :) They are made of a soft material covered with very thin plastic so they are bendable. The books are one of his favorite toys. It comes with a soft cube with pictures and words on it. I highly recommend.
